I enjoy visiting this place occasionally. It offers outdoor seating during warm weather, which is a nice perk. The staff is friendly and polite, and the food is tasty too!

JB’s has been here a while and is pretty good. It’s like most pub style restaurants. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Wednesday is 5 burger night so that’s a nice option. Lots of different beers on tap and mine was always delivered to the table ice cold. It’s not food related but I love the historical pictures of Waltham and it’s old businesses that are hanging throughout the restaurant. I will definitely be back again with friend for more beers and burgers.

Some of our most popular sandwiches are a Beer Battered Cod Reuben, a Grilled Chicken and Avocado sandwich, a Caprese sandwich and of course our tasty Char-Grilled Burgers with many toppings available.

Came by for the first time in 35 years today. I remember when this place was The Ground Round. In some ways, it hasn’t changed. The stage where they used to have the guitar guy is still there - it’s just tables on top now. But enough about the old days. Sat at the bar and the bartender, Kira, was amazing. Friendly and attentive. Ordered the steak tips and they were great. A good crowd for the pats game - but all friendly and good natured. Glad the place is still going strong. A great neighborhood place that I hope lasts another 45 years.

Such yummy choices!! The Buffalo chicken dip was a pretty good start but my turkey apple wrap was SO tasty!! This place is something to consider

It’s my favorite rustic tavern because it feels like an escapade from busy life of big city. Great services and great foods!

The Tavern is a delightful spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is delicious . The staff truly stands out – they are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and satisfying dining experience!

Another great google find. We sat in the dining room. The service was amazing and server was very pleasant. We loved the semi rustic Atmosphere. Booths were very comfortable near the window with slighting higher table. Water was delicious and soda wasn’t watered down. We shared a delicious house salad spilt in half with five different vegetables with pepperoncinis and house dressing. My wife at a very tasty veggie burger with sauteed onions, American cheese, range dressing on toasted wheat bread. I had today’s special baked haddock with sweet potato and parmesan breading with rice pilaf, carrots, Broccoli, and cauliflower. We can highly recommend John Brewer’s Tavern. Back again. Same meal as last time.
